In 2010 Accenture was awarded a contract to implement the Singapore National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) system The National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) program is a multi-year contract to implement a system which provides a holistic view of a patient’s health information, supporting the Singapore Ministry of Health vision, “One Singaporean, One Health Record”.

Accenture is responsible for the development of Use Cases as part of the Standards and Interoperability (S&I) Framework that will support the requirements for the implementation of key elements of meaningful use and future standards for the National Health Information Network (NHIN). With the development of the S&I Framework, this project will help build the foundation for the client to achieve their goal of widespread health IT interoperability across the nation.

Unisys provided design, implementation, management, and outsourcing services for HHS Mail. Unisys managed nearly 80,000 Microsoft (MS) Exchange email boxes and 12,000 BlackBerry server accounts supporting multiple Operating Divisions (OpDivs) across HHS. HHS Mail is a large, secure, and highly available enterprise email and calendaring solution meeting the varying requirements of each OpDiv.

Unisys CDC Mid-Tier Data Center (MTDC) past performance is a task order awarded under CIO-SP2i. As the prime contractor for CDC MTDC, Unisys manages large and complex IT-related efforts. Unisys supported marked increases in server management and maintenance, hosted applications, and regional servers. Unisys successful planning, execution, and monitoring of these functions enabled the MTDC to take on additional responsibilities, such as support of the development and test environments for a critical program, BioSense.

For over 10 years STG has supported more than 30 active task orders under NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center Mission Support Services BPA ranging from data analysis and visualization, scientific programming and research, and advanced IT in support of environmental initiatives and public health. STG work with our NOAA customers includes creating the U.S. Drought Portal that provides information about risk and impact of droughts to different government agencies and stakeholders such as the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences.

In 2004, STG conducted an independent security assessment for the Office of the Director VHA Office of Information, Health Information Architecture, and Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA). STG was responsible for planning, designing, and implementing a comprehensive requirements management program, including the initiation of a set of phased proof-of-concept exercises that led to the institutionalization of the program.

STG has as team of expert scientists, geospatial analysts, computer scientists and database experts who have worked collaboratively to develop risk maps, tools, and analyses to understand the risks of infectious diseases, including West Nile Virus and other encephalitides in the U.S.; dengue, malaria, yellow fever, and leishmaniasis globally; and African and American trypanosomiasis at the continental scale. STG will continue to develop methodologies, tools and models to assess health threats to U.S.

The TCGA Project began with a three-year pilot on two cancers, and is currently being scaled up to more than 20 cancers. The program is a collaboration between NCI, NHGRI, and many other cancer research organizations participating as centers in the program. Its goal is to perform the most detailed characterization of cancer ever attempted at the molecular level.

As the program manager for the Western Health Information Network - one of the largest regional networks participating in NHIN - SRA helped recruit healthcare organizations into NHIN and played an integral role in planning for the demonstration, including coordinating the preparatory meetings, developing communications materials for the participating audience and the general public, and generally overseeing LBNH's involvement in the demo.

VAERS is a national vaccine safety surveillance program co-sponsored by CDC and FDA. VAERS was mandated by Congress in 1986, which required healthcare providers and vaccine manufacturers to report vaccine adverse events (VAEs). Based on CDC and FDA requirements, SRA designed, developed, implemented, and maintains the VAERS system to house VAE reports. SRA also planned, designed, developed, and maintains a public website (vaers.hhs.gov) that provides public information, a publicly accessible dataset, and facilitates electronic submission of VAEs by the public and healthcare providers.
